Singer, Actor, Wife, and Mother Whitney Houston died February 11, 2012, at age 48. Born Whitney Elizabeth Houston on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey. Sources say that singer had checked into Beverly Hilton hotel to prepare for Clive Davis pre-grammy party that night. Later on around 3:30 western time, 911 was called to the hotel on the 4th floor were Whitney Houston was discovered my her entourage unresponsive and unconscious. Paramedics arrived at the scene, where they performed CPR on the singer. It did not work and the singer was pronounced dead at 3:55 western time. Family, friends, and fans all over the world was shocked and filled with emotions from the sudden death of the singer. February 18, 2012 in her hometown Newark, New Jersey was the date where the memorial was held for the singer, which was invitation only. I'm a criminal .. and so are you
This article is about a author named Michelle Alexander, she wrote an article about herself going around calling herself a criminal. But its not the kind of criminal that goes to jail for killing someone, sexually assaulting or buying illegal drugs. The article focuses on her saying that being a criminal can be anything. Such as, driving over a speed limit, taking candy or money from someones purse or anything else. For example, she includes "Perhaps there should be a box on the census form that says "I'm a criminal.""Everyone who has ever committed a crime would be required to check it." Concluding, that " maybe we, as a nation, would second-guess our apparent zeal for denying full citizenship to those branded felons." My opinion, of this article is that its interesting. It makes a good point about everyone is a criminal, that you don't have to necessarily commit a felony, but just something small as getting a traffic ticket is acts of a criminal.
